Hello and welcome!

My name is Lauren and I enjoy writing about natural science, the environment, and our relationship with the natural world.

I started this blog to share my passion for Earth and space science and keep up-to-date on interesting science myself!

I work for the EPA as a data analyst, hold a Bachelor of Science in Geology, and have research experience in aqueous geochemistry and metamorphic petrology. I have a deep passion for natural sciences and the craft of writing creative nonfiction and this blog is the union of the two.

I also enjoy writing creative nonfiction short stories, cooking, hiking, knitting, and watching Star Trek.
